Arrow Awards Concept

Design lead: Audience Research, Brand Strategy, Naming and Concept, Visual Identity
Project Developed at Parisleaf

The Arrow Awards is a concept for a collaborative investment model by Pelotonia that backs high-risk, high-reward research into cancer cures. The goal is to bring together diverse industries to find the next leap forward.

Pelotonia came to us with an interesting challenge: to seek out and brand a new award concept. Through a deep discovery process, we landed on an award model that will work beyond institutional boundaries, while bolstering the Pelotonia and OSUCCC-James brand. History shows us that breakthroughs often come from uncommon partnerships and pairings, and this award brings together the most daring, surprising, and left-field ideas.

Backing the Brilliant

We wanted to develop an award-worthy brand that celebrates the surprise and delight of unexpected pairings. The Arrow Awards brand conveys its ambition to accelerate the discovery of new cancer cures – no matter where they come from. The simple and flexible system is primed and ready to handle yearly iterations while depicting the power of cross-industry collaboration.

Ultimately, we designed a cousin to the Pelotonia brand that points toward unorthodox partnerships and accelerated cancer cures by empowering future-minded researchers.
